Medical Transcription Program
Program Overview
The Medical Transcription Program prepares students to accurately transcribe and edit physicians’ dictated reports into standardized medical documents. Students will learn medical terminology, anatomy, pharmacology, healthcare documentation standards, and transcription technology, including electronic health records (EHR) systems and voice recognition editing. Graduates are trained to produce accurate patient records that ensure proper documentation, continuity of care, and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
